Craig DiLouie, LC launched ZING Communications, Inc. in 2001 to provide education, journalism and marketing services to leading organizations, publications and manufacturers in the North American lighting industry.
As an educator, Craig has worked with organizations such as IES, NEMA, NECA, Lighting Controls Association, NAED and others to produce quality educational programs and publications. He has spoken at Lightfair and is a co-presenter of the seminar, "What's New in Lamps and Ballasts." Additionally, he has written four books on lighting and another on electrical design. Craig is Lighting Certified by the NCQLP.
As a journalist, Craig covers lighting news, design, applications, trends and technologies in BD&C, Electrical Contractor, LM&M, Enlighten, TED and other publications in addition to his own blog and monthly newsletter at LightNOWblog.com and Lightsearch.com.
As a marketing consultant, Craig works with various leading manufacturers to produce a variety of communications, from articles and whitepapers to custom publications to fully realized marketing campaigns.
Prior to founding ZING Communications, Inc., Craig served as editor and later publisher of Architectural Lighting, leading it to its current status as the industry's dominant print publication. Previously, he was vice president of communications for Creative Marketing Alliance, Inc., a marketing communications firm where he worked with organizations such as U.S. EPA Green Lights, NALMCO, NAILD and NAESCO.
